“Communications for European Integration”: a networking event in Kyiv
14/04/2025
On April 11, a networking event titled “Communications for European Integration” was held in Kyiv, bringing together representatives of the EU Delegation to Ukraine and EU-funded projects.
Rémi Duflot, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, in his welcome speech emphasized the growing public awareness in Ukraine about EU support, key behavioural changes among Ukrainians, and highlighted the main achievements of EU communication campaigns.
👉 All participants were inspired by an optimistic and thought-provoking lecture delivered by renowned Ukrainian journalist Vitaliy Portnikov, who drew historical parallels between the past and present of European nations, the importance of the European integration process, and Ukraine’s role in a united Europe.
The team of the “Communicating Europe to Ukrainians” (CEU4U) project engaged attendees in an interactive quiz, testing their knowledge of the results and impact of 12 communication campaigns implemented between 2021 and 2025.
