Media literacy workshop in Cherkasy
25/05/2025
The closer Ukraine gets to joining the EU, the more pro-Kremlin disinformation peddlers seek to disrupt it. The Kremlin is continuously producing hundreds of falsehoods and information manipulations about Ukraine’s European integration and the EU’s support for Ukraine.
🧐 To strengthen their skills in recognising and countering hostile attacks, 29 journalists, educators and civil society activists from all over Ukraine gathered in Cherkasy region. Together with experienced information resilience experts, they learnt to debunk falsehoods, shared common experiences and worked in teams to refute hostile narratives about the EU-Ukraine relations.
🇪🇺 The workshop was part of the EU-Ukraine Disinformation Awareness and Resilience Project, implemented by the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine.
