31/01/2025
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova, in partnership with the Czech NGO ‘People in Need’ and with financial support from the European Union, has announced a new initiative to support Moldovans and Ukrainian refugees during this winter.
The project titled ‘Winter Financial Assistance for Vulnerable Households of Moldovans and Ukrainian Refugees’ will run from January to March 2025. It will provide financial compensation to households in the Republic of Moldova, including Ukrainian refugees, under temporary protection to mitigate the impact of the energy crisis, especially during the cold season.
The total budget for the support programme is €700,000, which will be disbursed as compensations to recipients.
