The “EU Support for Makariv Recovery” project, funded by the European Union in partnership with NEFCO, is under way in Makariv community. Two facilities important to the community are currently being restored — the “Teremok” kindergarten and the therapeutic building of Makariv Multidisciplinary Hospital. This was reported by the Makariv Settlement Council, as relayed by Kyivshchyna Info.

The “Teremok” kindergarten is being rebuilt from scratch. The main structural work has already been completed, and the team is now focused on the interior fit-out of the building. Finishing works are ongoing inside the premises, and heating, ventilation, and fire safety systems are being installed. Work on the fence around the grounds is also proceeding in parallel.

In the therapeutic building of Makariv Multidisciplinary Hospital, restoration and thermal modernisation works are continuing. Finishing work is ongoing in the intensive care unit, and bathrooms are being fitted out in the basement.

Part of the work at the hospital has already been completed: the building has been insulated, two new lifts have been installed, and the 3rd and 5th floors of the building have been renovated.

The project is being implemented in cooperation with Makariv Settlement Council with the support of the European Union and NEFCO. Work at both facilities is ongoing.
