The NACP Integrity Office has launched a pilot project in educational institutions
27/07/2023
Integrity is the path to a successful and just society. Sometimes it may be stormy along the way, but the key is to stay on course and keep a clear direction. So when should we start the journey of integrity? Definitely from childhood. That is why, with the support of EUACI, the NACP Integrity Office, together with partners NGO “Smart Education”, has launched a pilot project in educational institutions called “Educational Navigator”.
What is it?
“Educational Navigator” is a project that involves the development of recommendations for participants in the educational process and their support in selected educational institutions. This is an important step towards increasing the transparency of the educational environment in general secondary education institutions. Leading experts in the education sector are working on its development.
The recommendations will cover various aspects related to the activities of general secondary education institutions: ensuring a modern and safe educational space raising the professional level building a culture of academic integrity We, at the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative, are pleased to support this project, as the introduction of anti-corruption measures into curricula and educational work will help to create conscious citizens who understand the negative consequences of corruption from an early age.
We hope that these recommendations will become not just a theoretical basis for creating an integrity-based educational environment, but also a roadmap to help the management of educational institutions do their job to the fullest.
