EU4Youth Coordination and Policy Support

Project Description
The EU4Youth Coordination and Policy Support project will continue supporting EU action on youth in the Eastern Partnership region. Areas of work will range from enhancing strategic partnerships and extending EU support on youth policy matters, to monitoring the EU4Youth programme’s overall progress, and communicating the success of EU-funded youth initiatives throughout the region.
Specific Objective
The overall objective to which this action contributes is:
Coordination and policy support for EU action on youth in the EaP region continued with strengthened outreach, partnerships and measurable results.

The specific objectives of this contract are as follows:
1. EU4Youth initiative is coordinated at programme and country levels, with enhanced strategic partnerships, regular results monitoring as well as communication and EU visibility.
2. EU stakeholders are supported to better engage on youth-related policy developments and to conduct policy dialogue on youth-related topics with partner country institutions.
Expected Results
1. Coordination mechanisms are functioning at regional / EU4Youth programme and at country levels to support cooperation, networking and knowledge sharing among all the different EU4Youth projects and strategic development support for the regional multi-phase EU4Youth programme is in line with DG NEAR policy priorities;
2. EU4Youth results framework is further developed in close cooperation with implementing partners and operations-related results monitoring with data collection and analysis (including end beneficiary surveys) is conducted;
3. Communication on the EU4Youth programme is enhanced in line with communication and visibility guidance for external actions (including EU4Youth annual achievements report and programme overviews), organisation of annual EU4Youth Days and other knowledge sharing events;
4. DG NEAR and EU Delegation youth focal points are regularly updated with expertise and analysis on relevant policy developments and capacity-building support is in place for partner countries to improve the evidence base for youth-related policy dialogue and programme design;
5. Expertise is made available to support programming of the next phases of EU4Youth, including for methodological innovations, building on the Youth Policy Labs experience. partner countries but also on main youth policy developments at the EU level.
