23/05/2025
The European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine have organized the third “Rehabilitation: Physical Therapist of the Future” school for 24 specialists from different oblasts of Ukraine.
Under the guidance of experienced experts, participants mastered key professional competencies, enhanced their clinical thinking, and applied evidence-based techniques.
In particular, they practised physical therapy for musculoskeletal disorders, explored current aspects of rehabilitation care and funding, and strengthened their skills in teamwork and proactive leadership.
The school was organized in partnership with the Patients of Ukraine Charitable Foundation, the Ukrainian Association of Physical Therapy, and the Institute of Vertebrology and Rehabilitation as part of the flagship “EU4Recovery – Empowering Communities in Ukraine” partnership between UNDP and the EU.
