Yarmolyntsi Agro-industrial Vocational Education Centre received a new school bus
Today, Yarmolyntsi Agro-industrial Vocational Education Centre, a state-own educational institution, received a brand-new school bus under the “EU4Skills: Better Skills for Modern Ukraine”, an international programme of the European Union implemented with support of the Government of Germany and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
Deputy Chief of the Oblast Military Administration Volodymyr Yuryev presented the keys to the management of the school. The official stated that the Khmelnytskiy oblast is grateful to international partners for this important support and development of the Ukrainian system of education in these trying times.
“Despite the fact that the educational process in Ukraine is facing daily obstacles of air raid alerts and power outages, and the neighbouring country continues to spread terror, we continue to work on providing the generation of young Ukrainians with quality education. Thanks to the partnership with the EU, a vocational education institution received a new school bus for the first time in the oblast. I am confident that now the students of the centre will have more new opportunities thanks to improved mobility,” stated Volodymyr Yuryev.
Notably, there are 447 students attending the centre, with many of them needing transportation to the centre. The centre provides top level training based on basic or full secondary education, and also vocational training, retraining, and advanced training for working students and the unemployed.
