e-Consul: EU supports development of consular services for Ukrainians
17/09/2024
Ukrainians abroad will soon be able to benefit from the ‘e-Consul’ system, making the services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine faster and more accessible.
The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) supported the first phase of development for the system with funding from the Government of Japan, and is now facilitating further modernisation with financial backing from the European Union.
The system will fully digitise some consular services, while making others faster and easier, with documents automatically retrieved from state registers.
