Creative Europe’s €338 million budget for next year includes international relations and support for Ukrainian artists
27/09/2024
In 2025, the EU-funded programme Creative Europe will have a budget of approximately €338 million to implement its actions.
With this funding, the programme will provide support for the transition of cultural and creative sectors towards an environmentally sustainable, inclusive and digital future.
In the next year, the programme will continue to reinforce the EU’s international relations.
This includes supporting Ukrainian artists and cultural operators and displaced Ukrainian population in accessing culture. As of 2025, Ukraine will fully participate in the programme’s MEDIA Strand.
In particular, this support will be provided through a call to select three consortia to help Ukrainian cultural and creative sector organisations, artists and culture professionals tackle the ongoing and future consequences of the Russian war against Ukraine, in cooperation with organisations from other Creative Europe countries.
