
Seven frontline regions receive generators to prepare for the heating season

According to the Recovery Window network, a media partner of the EU NEIGHBOURS east programme, seven Ukrainian frontline regions received 600 generators of various capacities in September as part of the cooperation between the Ministry of Reintegration and the EU Civil Protection Mechanism with the support of the Polish Foreign Ministry.
This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
The generators were handed over to Dnipropetrovs’k, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.
The devices will be used to ensure uninterrupted power supply to social and healthcare institutions, so-called ‘Points of Invincibility’ and other critical infrastructure facilities in the event of long-term power outages.
The Ukraine Recovery Window media network brings together 80 independent regional and national media and analytical platforms to monitor and report on all aspects of reconstruction in Ukraine, highlighting EU and international donor support for recovery. The Recovery Window network is a partner of the EU NEIGHBOURS east programme.
