Seven new projects for Vocational Education and Training providers selected under Erasmus+

Seven new projects involving 20 VET providers from Ukraine have been selected for funding under the European Union Erasmus+ Programme for Capacity Building in the Field of Vocational Education and Training (VET). In total, out of 299 submitted applications 72 projects were recommended for funding.

Ukrainian organisations will benefit from the experience of European partners and expand their capacity to implement reforms in the field of Vocational Education and Training.

The projects will be implemented jointly with 55 partners from 16 countries: Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Czechia, Georgia, Germany, Greece Italy, Latvia, Malta, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, and Ukraine.

Out of 20 partners from Ukraine, 17 will act as full partners and three as associated partners, representing seven higher education institutions (Dnipro, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kherson), three VET Centres (Kryvyi Rih, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi), three VET Schools (Lutsk, Lviv, Rivne), four VET Colleges (Dnipro, Lviv, Ternopil), the NGOs ‘Institute of Professional Qualifications’ and ‘EDUCATION 360’, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

EU grants range from €100,000 up to €400,000 per project and will fund the professional training of staff working together with international partners on the modernisation of curricula, development of innovations and methodological resources, implementation of events and study visits, and the creation of modern infrastructure.

Since 2022, 25 partners from 12 countries with seven VET providers from Ukraine have jointly been implementing three Capacity Building in the Field of Vocational Education and Training projects.

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme that aims to support, through lifelong learning, the educational, professional and personal development of people in education, training, youth and sport, in Europe and beyond. It provides opportunities for learning mobility, projects and partnerships, policy development and cooperation. The Programme is inclusive for people of all ages and backgrounds and almost 40 calls for proposals are open to different types of organisations from Ukraine.
