The European Commission has presented a selection of tools for cooperation between Ukrainian and European businesses
03/08/2026
The European Commission has compiled the available EU tools and resources that help Ukrainian businesses develop cooperation with European partners, implement digital solutions, and strengthen entrepreneurial competencies. The practical opportunities for Ukrainian companies have been brought together in the information booklet Facilitating EU-Ukraine Business Cooperation.
The booklet was presented during the strategic session “From Pipeline to Country Roadmap: Mobilising EU Businesses and Member State Institutions for Investments in Ukraine,” held on 7 July at the Ukrainian House in Brussels. The event was organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations together with UkraineInvest, with the participation of the Mission of Ukraine to the EU.
The booklet contains a number of tools and resources that Ukrainian businesses can make use of.
The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) — the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized businesses, helping companies grow and enter international markets. EEN Ukraine helps Ukrainian businesses enhance their competitiveness, build supply chains, and develop within the EU Single Market and beyond. The network brings together 560 partners in more than 55 countries and around 3,000 business advisers.
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) is an international programme for the exchange of entrepreneurial and management experience. It gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to gain practical business experience and develop professional connections with peers from other countries. Since 2017, 674 Ukrainian entrepreneurs and 15 host entrepreneurs from Ukraine have taken part in the programme.
Focus Group Ukraine — monthly online meetings hosted by the European Commission, bringing together representatives of the public and private sectors and business networks. Participants receive up-to-date information on the development of B2B cooperation between Ukraine and the EU and can provide the European Commission with feedback on business needs.
European Clusters Alliance (ECA) — an association of cluster organisations that represents their interests at the European and international levels. The Alliance promotes the development of cooperation between clusters, the exchange of experience, and the integration of business ecosystems across different countries.
European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) — a European online platform for developing cluster cooperation and finding partners. It helps cluster organisations and companies find potential partners, join international initiatives, and develop cooperation within European and global value chains.
European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) — centres providing practical support for business digitalisation. In Ukraine, they give small and medium-sized enterprises access to expert support, technology testing, training, and consultations on innovation financing, and help establish connections with European partners.
Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF) — the investment component of Ukraine Facility, aimed at attracting investment for Ukraine’s reconstruction and development and expanding financing opportunities for Ukrainian businesses.
