EU-funded grants for Ukrainian investigative media to cover urgent needs

The Kyiv Media School, in partnership with the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), is launching an emergency funding programme for independent investigative media in Ukraine.
Grants from €500 to €5,000 should cover critical expenses. Those can be legal consultations for investigative journalists, continuation of current investigative projects, and urgent participation in key international or regional events.
This is a one-time grant, intended for cases where no alternative funding sources are available. The proposed project must be completed within one month.
The call is open to independent investigative media operating at the national or regional level and registered as non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Ukraine.
The deadline for the first wave of applications is 26 May.
The project is implemented by the Media Development Foundation with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), the leading anti-corruption support programme funded by the EU in Ukraine, co-funded and implemented by the Danish Foreign Ministry.
