Open Call for Ukrainian artists working at intersection of art, technology and healing
A consortium of seven European organisations – art4mental – funded by the EU’s Creative Europe programme, is looking for 20 artists to create immersive VR works for use in therapy sessions with patients across Ukraine and the EU.
Successful applicants will receive up to €5,000. They will also get an opportunity to take part in international study visits and bootcamps with experts in art, mental health and immersive technologies, receive hands-on training in 360° video, spatial audio and VR-ready formats, and a residency in the Carpathians to complete their videos.
The call is open to professional artists and small collectives from any discipline – visual arts, digital art, music, ceramics, performance, new media and beyond.
The deadline for applications is 11 November 2026.
