European Union Project “Unity for Community” / EU Unity4Community: new opportunities for civil society
On February 27, 2025, a public presentation of the three-year European Union project “Unity for Community” / EU Unity4Community was held in Kyiv at the Civil Society House, which will be implemented by the Initiative Center for Promoting Activity and Development of the Public Initiative “Unity” (ISAR Unity).
The project should strengthen civil society organizations as a driving force for change in communities, strengthen their role in implementing development initiatives, and improve the culture of partnership between authorities and civil society at the local level.
Within the framework of the project during 2025-2027, in particular:
- civil society organizations (CSOs) will be able to receive up to 100 grants for the implementation of development and advocacy projects, as well as for research;
- about 300 representatives of CSOs and LSGs will participate in the training program “Recovery and Development Officers”.
The presentation of the project took place on World NGO Day, which symbolically emphasized the important role of civil society in the recovery and development of Ukraine.
