Third annual essay competition “A letter to Europe”
We are launching the third annual essay competition! We invite young people to take part in the Europe Day essay contest on the topic: “A letter to Europe”.
If you could write a letter to Europe, what would you say? Share your thoughts, hopes, and expectations – speak about Ukraine’s journey, your vision for the future, and the values that unite us. Your voice matters!
Ukrainian students aged 16–22 who are currently studying at a secondary school, college, or university are eligible to participate.
Essay language: Ukrainian
Length: 800–1000 words
Style: clear, original and honest — entirely your own work
AI-generated content or plagiarism will result in disqualification.

Winners will be invited to a special Europe Day celebration in Kyiv in May, including an official award ceremony and the opportunity to meet diplomats from the EU Delegation and other high-level guests.
