Together We Learn & Grow – the EU launches a new communication campaign about EU support for education and youth in Ukraine in wartime

On 26 September, a new all-Ukrainian communication campaign “Together We Learn & Grow. The EU and Ukraine creating a common European future” will be launched. Amid the ongoing illegal Russian aggression against Ukraine, the European Union is demonstrating its solidarity and providing comprehensive support to enable continuous sustainable education and to provide the country with professionals at all levels. Priority areas include funding for the reconstruction of schools, restoring safe educational spaces, professional development for students, teachers and young scientists, and retraining for veterans and IDPs.
The official launch of the campaign will take place on 26-29 September 2024 as part of the Book Country Festival (Knyzhkova Krayina) at the Expo Centre of Ukraine (VDNG), where the #TogetherWeLearn&Grow space will be open to visitors.
The venue will have themed tents – The Opportunity Space, where EU projects will present their programmes and achievements, and The Lecture Hall, where discussions, lectures, consultations, interactive activities and musical performances of all kinds are to be held.
Young people will be introduced to the Collider project, which focuses on technology, education, pop culture, and history. In addition, representatives from the Euroquiz and Young European Ambassadors projects will run quizzes with the chance to win prizes.
As with the “Together We Learn & Grow” communication campaign in general, the kick-off event is designed not only to demonstrate the scale and relevance of EU assistance to Ukraine’s education sector, but also to highlight the impact and importance of this support in building a talent pool for the country’s recovery and its European integration path.
