On July 13, Vinnytsia will host #TogetherWeAct Fest, the third in a series of regional activities as part of the All-Ukrainian communication campaign on EU support for civil society and independent media in Ukraine
Dear media representatives,
We are pleased to invite you to #TogetherWeAct Fest – Vinnytsia, which will take place on July 13, 2024, on the European Square.
Starting time: 2 p.m.
The #TogetherWeAct Fest – Vinnytsia was organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine in partnership with the Union of Participants and Veterans of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO), or SUVIATO, to finalise the celebration of the Europe Days in Ukraine as part of the ‘Together We Act. Together we are Europe’ communication campaign, dedicated to the EU support to Ukrainian civil society and independent media.
The opening ceremony of the #TogetherWeAct Fest – Vinnytsia will be attended by the representatives of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, local government, civil society activists and media representatives from Vinnytsia region.
The event will be held at The European Square, featuring an information tent of the EU Delegation to Ukraine and the CSO Alley ‘Solidarity’, several thematic interactive zones, a photo and lounge area, public discussions on the role of civil society and media in reforming Ukraine and its European integration strive, presentations and other activities, such as artistic masterclasses and psychological induction tests for children and adults. Everyone will be able to join the ‘Unity: Ukraine and the EU’ prize quest, and a playground will be opened for children.
A ‘Public Podcast about the Important’ will be organised for the guests of the event in Street-talk on the issue of psychological support and rehabilitation of servicemen and their families.
The guests of #TogetherWeActFest can get acquainted with the #TogetherWeAct.SUPPORT exhibition, which showcases civil society organisations supported by the European Union since the first days of the full-scale war.
The exhibition will open in Vinnytsia on July 8 and run until July 22.
#TogetherWeAct Fest – Vinnytsia continues a series of regional events as part of the ‘Together We Act. Together we are Europe’ communication campaign by the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine. The campaign aims to better inform Ukrainians about the unprecedented and unwavering support that the EU has been providing to Ukraine, in particular to civil society organisations and independent media, since the first days of the full-scale war. This support has enabled CSOs and the media to defend human rights, protect the interests of socially vulnerable groups, strengthen public scrutiny and accountability of government, and promote reforms. The first key public event of the campaign, #TogetherWeAct Fest, took place in Kyiv on May 25 and brought together more than 3,000 visitors, #TogetherWeAct Fest-Khmelnytskyi was held on June 22, and Rivne hosted it on June 30.
Media representatives are welcome!
