Reshetylivka I.G. Borovensky Professional Agricultural Lyceum has received a self-propelled combine harvester. The cost of the agricultural machinery is about €230,000. It was provided thanks to the school’s participation in the EU4Skills: Best Skills for Modern Ukraine programme.
During a working visit to the community, Dmytro Lunin, Head of the Poltava Regional Agency for Vocational Education and Training, inspected the conditions for practical training at the institution and the new agricultural machinery, Poltava Regional Military Administration reports.
“The combine is equipped with three grain harvesters and spare parts. It will be used to train children to become tractor operators and drivers,” said Dmytro Lunin.
As part of its participation in the EU4Skills programme, the Lyceum received computers and a bus to transport children from the surrounding villages of the municipality.
Soon, the college will also receive other modern agricultural machinery: tractors, harvesters, seeding machines, trucks and training units. The new equipment will enable the institution to effectively train future professionals to meet the needs of the labour market.
