“Our 10% equals to about UAH 8 million. These funds will be included in the budget, and we will start implementing the project no earlier than May 2025. Tenders have been announced so far, and we are looking for contractors to carry out the work,” explained Tymoshuk.
With financial support from the EU, the installation of sewerage systems in settlements around Lake Svityaz were completed in 2022, including the villages of Pulmo (Mokashyn tract), Svityaz, Melnyky (Lyapove tract), and the western part of Shatsk. The project cost €7 million, according to the village council secretary.
The new project aims to provide centralized water supply and sanitation in the village of Pulmo, where sewerage has already been implemented, reconstruct the sewerage network in the central part of the village of Shatsk, and purchase a vacuum sewage truck and other specialized equipment for infrastructure maintenance, the official added.
