
Denmark signs a memorandum on rebuilding Mykolaiv Oblast – Zamazeyeva
The deputy believes a cooperation in the area of ship building is possible with Denmark
Ambassador of Denmark to Ukraine Ole Egberg Mikkelsen signed a memorandum on rebuilding Mykolaiv Oblast, informed Hanna Zamazeyeva, Head of Mykolaiv Oblast Council. She emphasized that it was important not only to rebuild housing, but also the industry to ensure jobs and encourage people to return to the region.
Zamazeyeva stressed a shared interest in ship-building was established: Mykolaiv has powerful plants, while Denmark boasts state-of-the-art equipment and processes.
The head of Mykolaiv Oblast Council also proposed to create a Danish block or park in the city of Mykolaiv so that every city resident and guest knew about the cooperation with Denmark.
As a reminder, previously Danish companies provided 11 tonnes of equipment for repairing water supply and heating supply systems in Mykolaiv. Also, in the beginning of December 2022, the Danish government provided Mykolaiv with 50 reverse osmosis water purification systems through a partner organization – the Danish Refugee Council.
