Project Description
The “Recovery Center” is an inclusive, innovative place for recovery of people, affected by war through physical, psychological and art rehabilitation.

“Recovery Center” is accessible to artists, locals, and people with disabilities. Concerts, exhibitions, performances, art events are held on a regular basis and accessible people with disabilities. Access to the “Recovery Center” is open to artists from the city, region and country.
Recovery Center became a point for the decision-making process improvement, through involvement of IDPs to a community life by participative events (discussions, round-tables, tolokas, and inviting local community members to contribute to the “Recovery Center” development).
Established partnership with domestic and international recovery centers, hospitals, artists to promote “Recovery Center, share experience and cooperate in order to help people, affected by war. New working places are created.
Specific Objective
Overall objective is to promote participatory, innovative and inclusive recovery for persons, affected by war though cultural development, based on the unique cultural heritage.

Specific objectives:
Create space for innovative, diverse, inclusive and participatory recovery for persons, affected by war;
Enhance capacity of artists to implement innovative cultural events;
Increase citizens’ capacity (including youth) to influence cultural city development;
Stimulate of cultural industries development for local economic stability and employment generation;
Inspire cultural heritage revitalization on a bigger scale with our own example;
Provide different types of recovery (physical, psychological, art) to people effected by war.
Expected Results
The innovative Recovery Center for people, affected by war is created. Artists are provided with innovative and inclusive space to develop and launch art initiatives. Business representatives, citizens, IDPs, militaries, youth, and artists are involved in the Recovery Center activities planning and implementation. Operational capacity of CSOs and initiatives is increased. Best practices and learned lessons are shared between members of the “Union of responsible citizens”. Recovery Center becomes the main innovative and inclusive recovery space in Kryvyi Rih. Creation of new jobs, and business climate improvement in the spheres of recovery of people, affected by war.
Ensuring safety of up to 400 citizens (disabled people, elderlies, pregnant women and women with small children) of Kryvyi Rih city, Zaporizhzhya and Eastern region of Ukraine by evacuating them to the Western part Ukraine and/or to bordering countries.
5000 people are directly involved to the Recovery Center activities and benefited from it.
