Project Description
The action aims to support foreign journalists reporting on the war from within Ukraine.
Specific Objective
The overall objective of the project - is to ensure the Ukrainian voice is heard through the support of foreign media operation in Ukraine and the visibility of Ukrainian narratives abroad: facilitation of foreign media operation in Ukraine through developing the dedicated materials, special events, media tours, fixers training and assisting in establishing constant operation.

Specific objectives (Outcomes) are:
1) A comprehensive introduction to foreign journalists of the historical and military-political context of the current war and its influence on worldwide security
2) Providing support to leading foreign media in communication with the government to create favorable environment for constant operation in Ukraine
3) Development of MCU partner network and CSOs communications and visibility
4) Rise of professional discussion on current challenges and the future of Ukrainian journalism.
Expected Results
Creation of analytical and background products - 10, Creation of photo bank with all photo and video materials which can be used by journalists legally with download 1000+ photos, spreading 90 6-language weekly digest, 8 Expert and off-the-rec meetings with 240+ journalists, 4 media-tours for 100+ journalists, organization 1 side event at international security conference hosted by MFA and MOD, 3 Special events to support Ukrainian narratives abroad (in coordination with MFA), 4 events of Redcolegia (1 media conference + 3 discussions), Fixers community support: 11 trainings + 50+ requests proceeding, 4 meetings of media with proper governmental agency for solving a complex problem and developing recommendations for UA gov on critical issues for foreign reporting from Ukraine, 15 Negotiation with top media, identifying the interest for constant representation and 5 Advising to media on constant representation, Increase CSOs and initiatives visibility – journalists, experts, and CSO participated in 16 contextual and dedicated events, 4 trainings and 8 mentoring sessions for CSOs, 4 panel discussions with both government and non-government sector representatives and expert, 2 polling of journalists to identify the most urgent needs.
