
Seven key border crossing points in Ukraine equipped with uninterruptible power supply systems thanks to EU project

Seven key border crossing points (BCPs) in Ukraine now have uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, thanks to an EU-funded project.
This major upgrade was funded by the EU4IBM-Resilience project, which invested nearly €200,000 in these advanced solutions and provided training and certification.
With UPS in place, stationary X-ray scanners remain fully operational during unscheduled power shutdowns, avoiding downtime at high-load BCPs.
“This means smoother trade flows, increased effectiveness against contraband — and ultimately stronger border security for Ukraine,” the EU Delegation to Ukraine said in a Facebook.
