Learning and growing together for the future

On March 6, more than 50 representatives of EU projects and partners of the All-Ukrainian communication campaign “Learning and growing together” gathered in Kyiv to sum up the results of the campaign, which lasted from September 2024 to February 2025. Participants of the networking event #TogetherWeLearnAndGrow discussed the results of the work, exchanged ideas and plans for the future.

Since February 24, 2022, the EU has invested more than 350 million euros in Ukrainian education and youth, helping kindergartens, schools, vocational education institutions, higher education institutions, as well as students, lecturers, teachers not only to overcome the challenges of wartime, but also to create a safe educational space, develop, and reform the education sector. “This is our contribution to peace and our common European future,” emphasized Henrik Witfelt, Head of the Department for Public Finance, Business Support and Social Policy of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, addressing the audience.

The network participants took part in a quiz dedicated to the events and results of the communication campaign. More than 10 events held across Ukraine attracted over 16,500 participants and 20 partner organizations. The mobile exhibition “Learning and Growing Together” covered 3,000 km, attracting hundreds of thousands of people interested in learning about the educational opportunities provided by the European Union. Almost 400 publications in the media and on digital platforms, TV/radio stories and blogs, together with other campaign activities, brought information about the opportunities provided by the EU to Ukrainian education and youth to more than 14 million Ukrainians.

The inspiration and synergy that defined the features of this communication campaign are the key to further successful partnerships and rational optimism. This was also mentioned in his motivational lecture by the Ukrainian educational and public figure, teacher, literary critic, journalist Serhiy Kvit.

Learning and growing together is not only about education, but also about the path that Ukraine and the EU are taking together, which is why it is so important to consolidate ideas and efforts for the reconstruction and modernization of European Ukraine.
