The kick-off meeting of the EU-funded project ‘Resilient Together: Improving Response to War-Related Sexual Violence’ took place today in Dnipro.
The project aims to improve the system of response to conflict-related sexual violence in Ukraine, provide targeted assistance to survivors, and develop cooperation mechanisms based on international standards and best practices.
The project covers the whole of Ukraine with a focus on 14 regions, in particular on Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.
The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Ukrainian Women’s Fund in partnership with the civil society organisation ‘La Strada-Ukraine’ and the Ukrainian Women Lawyers Association ‘JurFem’, as well as the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine and the Government Commissioner on Gender Equality Policy.
