EU4Business: SME Competitiveness and Internationalisation programme to continue supporting Ukrainian SMEs during war
17/03/2022
The EU-funded ‘EU4Business: SME Competitiveness and Internationalisation programme will continue to support Ukrainian SMEs during the war. The area for cooperation will be temporarily concentrated in the western regions of Ukraine. The programme plans to support SMEs through business associations in the form of clusters, chambers of commerce and industry and NGOs in local communities. Activities will aim to preserve jobs and support the Ukrainian economy, provide jobs for internally displaced persons and women, help SMEs to diversify their business models, including by digitalising products and services, and engage the Ukrainian diaspora to help Ukrainian businesses.
The entrepreneurs and communities can ask for support by writing an email.
‘EU4Business: SME Competitiveness and Internationalisation’ is co-financed by the EU and German Government and is implemented by German Federal company ‘Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH’. Before the war, the programme had already supported more than 10,000 entrepreneurs and their employees.
