29/03/2023

The results of one of the largest Creative Europe programme open call which covers all cultural and creative sectors – “European Cooperation Projects” 2022 – have been published recently. There are 13 successful Ukrainian projects among them, 2 of which are consortium coordinators. Let’s take a look at them:

Music Export Ukraine — «Eastern European Music Academy»

The Eastern European Music Academy (EEMA) is a hybrid capacity-building project aimed at advancing the careers of independent music professionals in Bulgaria, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine. Over the next few years, EEMA will offer a unique opportunity for musicians and managers to learn about current music business rules and develop their own careers, meet high-profile industry professionals, and be part of the vibrant music community from the whole region. The first iteration of the Academy will commence on April 20th, 2023, will run for 12 weeks, and will finish at Mastering the Music Business conference in Romania for the most successful students. Throughout the program, students will meet with top experts and gain valuable knowledge about the music industry.

In 2020 we had our first digital EEMA. First, our goal was to update the knowledge about the music business and help our students to diversify income streams during pandemic times. We ended up being not only classmates, but a music family, supporting each other and staying in touch for years to come. Therefore, now I’m thrilled to be organising the next iterations of the Academy with the top-experts, updated program and trips to music business events! EEMA is going to be your window into the European music business!” — says co-founder of Music Export Ukraine, Alona Dmukhovska.

Proto Produkciia — «What’s next? Safe cultural multi-spaces for the multidisciplinary reflection of (post)war and (pos)crisis European identity»

The multidisciplinary laboratory “What now?” is planned for the completion of the project in 2024 in Ukraine.
