The Shelter Project: assistance to internally displaced persons in Ukraine
08/04/2022
The East Europe Foundation (EEF), which implements two EU-funded civil society projects in Ukraine (3D project and Spilnodiia programme), has launched the Shelter Project for emergency assistance to all those who are leaving their homes seeking shelter in safer areas of Ukraine.
The project is aimed at supporting internally displaced persons, gathering funds for their needs, and organising the entire cycle of receiving, accompanying, and distributing humanitarian aid. The project is implemented through the network of local and regional partner non-governmental organisations of the EEF in Ukraine.
The East Europe Foundation has so far provided funds to five NGOs which are establishing shelters for internally displaced persons in Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne and Chernivtsi oblasts.
