Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite you to #TogetherWeAct Fest, which will take place on May 25, 2024, at Mystetskyi Arsenal (10-12 Lavrska St., Kyiv). The opening is at 13:00.
The opening ceremony of the #TogetherWeAct Fest Fest will be headlined by EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarína Mathernová and Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna.
The event will take place within celebration of the Europe Days in Ukraine as part of the all-Ukrainian communication campaign ‘Together We Act. Together We Are Europe’ implemented by the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine. Launched on 3 May, the campaign aims to inform Ukrainians about the unprecedented and unwavering support the EU has provided to Ukraine, in particular to civil society organisations and independent media since the first days of the full-scale war. This assistance has enabled CSOs and media to defend human rights, protect the interests of socially vulnerable groups, strengthen public scrutiny and accountability of government authorities, and promote reforms.
The venue will feature several themed interactive zones and a stage for panel discussions with leading experts, public figures, and journalists on the role of civil society and the media in reforming Ukraine and its European integration.
The event programme includes a screening of the film ‘89 Days [Ukraine] and a discussion with its director Pavlo Dorohoi.
There will also be an EU pavilion, the CSO Alley, a media zone, and a dedicated street exhibition. Guests will have the opportunity to join a number of subject-specific trainings, take a short course in media literacy and mine safety, attend master classes, art therapy sessions, enjoy the art wall and photo zone, take part in competitions and quizzes, and have fun on the playground.
Media representatives are welcome!
